Oze is a pristine alpine marshland known for its dramatic seasonal beauty and rich biodiversity. Explore the area on a guided e-bike tour, suitable for anyone comfortable on a bicycle. With the help of electric assist, you’ll gradually climb 800 meters in elevation at a relaxed pace—getting a bit of healthy exercise, taking breaks along the way, and enjoying the ever-changing scenery.

Once you arrive at Fujimi Pass, you will continue on foot to Ayamedaira, a beautiful highland marsh and one of the highlights of Oze National Park. Seeing such breathtaking views, which are usually only reached after hours of hiking, in such a short time may give you the surreal feeling that you’ve skipped through time and space.

Oze e-bike private tour (with pick-up from SHIROIYA HOTEL)

This is a private tour includes round-trip chauffeured transport between SHIROIYA HOTEL and Oze Kogen Hotel in a luxurious vehicle. A support car accompanies the e-bike ride, allowing you to take a break and continue by car if needed—making the tour accessible even for those with limited stamina. Start times and other details can be tailored to your preferences.

Kensuke Numano was born in northern Ibaraki Prefecture and is active year-round in the mountains of Gunma. He spent his youth surfing and skateboarding, then in his twenties, he developed a passion for snowboarding. He traveled the world, competing mainly in halfpipe events. After a memorable run on Mt. Shibutsu in Oze National Park, he relocated to Katashina Village in the mountain’s foothills. He continuously challenges himself exploring the rich natural terrain around Oze, and is a member of the Katashina Mountain Guide Association. He served as the executive secretary of Gunma Prefecture’s environmental education program, “Oze School,” for seven years, sharing the appeal of Oze and the importance of nature with local children.
